Barricade

This is a barricade I modeled for BioWare as a quick test back when I was still learning the pipeline. Nothing fancy had a few days to throw it together. The asset is in two parts (same material) and can be used together or apart. It gives the level artist more control and variety when making those next gen games next gen ;). No normal map, just diffuse.

Barrel

gThis is an old oil drum now used as a fire barrel. It has a "golden and decorative" look to it giving it more interest then say a typical dirty old barrel. I have been doing a lot of level building and engine side work these days. So I did this to brush up on unwrapping and texturing, blow off some of the dust.

Courtyard

firefoxI spent a few weeks researching different architectural periods and styles. Then I designed a courtyard using a variety of these styles. I had been playing a lot of Guild Wars the past few months and took some of the games' "feel" as inspiration. This was built as a high polygon scene not intended for engine use but rather pre-rendered cinematics.

HD4

firefoxThis is a model of Bell and Baldwin's (great grandfather) HD-4 Hydrofoil. In 1919 this wooden rocket reached a World Record speed of about 80mph. It held the record for many years and was also one of the first of its kind. It was powered by two V12 Liberty Engines and was approximately 60 feet long.

Alien

firefoxBeing a fan of the Alien series I roughed out a few concepts of a "space ship" like environment. I spent a few days modeling and lighting a few deigns I came up with. The total poly count for the entire scene is about 200,000. Texture wasn't the main focus here, geometry was.

MKIII

firefoxCreated for the Dark Communion mod (Unreal 2004) as a fast and agile single person vehicle. I originally concepted the idea using 4 wheeler (quad) and sport motorcycle references.
